A factor is a number that divides evenly with another number such as 7 and 42. For example 7 goes into 42 6 times.
Now I will demonstrate how to find factors, list factors, and find the greatest common factor. Lets say the number is 54. To find the multiple you have to find what numbers divide in to it evenly. The multiples would be 1,54,2,27,3,18,and 6,9.the greatest common factor would be 6, 9 because, if you tried any other number, it either doesn't divide evenly or it goes backwards, for example 9,6.

Good job! - You did a good job with you definition and links. You explanation of factors was good, but to find the GCF you need two numbers. Check out some other blogs and see if it makes sense - if not please see me.
